In 1989, he received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the American University in Washington, D.C. While there, he was awarded the Presidential Scholarship for all four years. He majored in International Studies with a minor in Business Administration and French.
After graduating, he participated in the University of Minnesota’s School of Law Exchange Program in Lyon, France. During this time, he studied the European Economic Community. He then went on to earn his law degree in 1992 from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William and Mary. In 2005, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from Evangel Theological Seminary in Harrisonburg, VA. It was here that he received his Master of Divinity Degree.
Today, Michael C. Tillotson is a member of the Williamsburg Bar Association and the Virginia State Bar. Here he is a member of the Trusts and Estates section and is affiliated with the Estate Plan. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Evangel Theological Seminary.
